Top Ten Tuesday: Books Having to Do with Water (or Rain, or Storms, or Something)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog and go here to see what others have on their Top Ten Tuesday lists!

This week’s topic is Water. So I’m featuring books that have water in the title. Or maybe rain, since we’re woefully short on rain in my part of the world. Or hurricanes, since Idalia is heading into the Gulf of Mexico. Not likely to hit us here, but hurricanes are never far from our minds at this time of year.

Have you read any of these books? Are any of them on your TBR list?

Fifty Words for Rain sounds good.

I thought of several ways to do today’s post, but not the way you did it, I like it! I didn’t have very many covers with water in the title, and didn’t think about rain or storms 😉 For my list, I am featuring 10 books on my physical bookshelves that have water on the cover that I still need to read. Have a great day!

  3. I like the rain/storm take on today’s theme! Stay safe this hurricane season! My TTT: https://www.literacious.com/2023/08/29/top-ten-tuesday-water/

  4. Books with the word “rain” in the title is something that never occurred to me, and you found some good ones😁

  5. I loved The Scent of Rain and Lightning! Such a great book. The cover is gorgeous, too!

Nice twist on today’s topic. There were different ways to go and I haven’t seen anyone else thinking of rain and storms. I haven’t read any of these, but the covers are definitely eye catching.

  7. I love rain! It’s always such a treat when it rains here in Arizona, even though it sometimes leads to storms and flooding. Still, the desert always flourishes when it gets a nice drink 🙂

    Happy TTT!
