This week’s TTT topic is submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits: Indie/Self-Published Books.

Today I talk about indie authors and their books that I love!
Y’all, I could write my whole post on S. Usher Evans. I have an entire shelf dedicated to her works. I’ll just share five of my favorites, and then give a little love to some other indie authors I adore.

First in her Razia series, and still my favorite (maybe by a slim margin, but Razia has my heart!).
First in the Princess Vigilante series. Brynna may be my second favorite of Evans’s heroines.

First in her Demon Spring trilogy, I love the fact that two of the main characters, Jack and Cam, demonstrate that yes, a man and a woman can be strictly friends. They’re almost like family to each other, and their interactions are a lot of fun to read!
First in her Madion War Trilogy. This is David vs. Goliath and enemies to lovers perfection in a fantastic fantasy setting.

First in Evans’s new cozy fantasy series, and I am HERE FOR IT. The world could do with more cozy right now!
Now, on to a few other indie authors whose works I’ll read without question.
Anita Dickason writes nail-biting thrillers, and those are what first caught my attention. The Tori Winters series is her venture into cozy mysteries, and I’m there for those, too! Anything Dickason writes, I’m reading.

Kimberly Fish has convinced me that yes, I am a romance reader! Her Comfort, Texas books are wonderful. I want to read them all.
Amber Royer’s Bean to Bar mysteries are a delight. I mean, mysteries and chocolate. How can you go wrong?

Lisa Haneberg’s Spy Shop mysteries are laugh-out-loud funny, and good mysteries, too. How can you not love a book with a main character named Roger Rodent?
The Crowns of Croswald by D. E. Night is a delightful middle grade fantasy series with a winsome heroine in Ivy Lovely. Highly recommend!

Have you read any of these? Do you think you might? Leave a comment!
Drinks & Sinkholes sounds interesting!

It is delightful good fun!
Interesting choices! I’m trying to visit new-to-me or not frequently visited blogs for TTT this week to see who is out there reading new-to-me books! Nice to “meet” you!
Nice to “meet” you, too! I need more hours in the day to visit all the blogs I’d like to!
The tile of Drinks and Sinkholes made me laugh. I can only imagine what that one is about!
Well, it involves an inn (the “drinks” part of the title) and sinkholes! But how did they get there? Who, or what, is creating them? Our innkeeper, who has no memory of her life before she came to Pigsend, finds herself in the middle of trying to solve the mystery.
I love cozy fantasy. City of Veils has a neat cover, 70% and Stiff Lizard both look super fun!
I didn’t know I needed cozy fantasy in my life until I started reading it. I’m hooked!
This is a great list! I love that your list really highlights how there are indie and self-published books in every genre!
Thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier!
I’ve never read S. Usher Evans but you’ve definitely inspired me to check out her work! The mysteries also look very tempting.

You are clearly a fan of Indie books and their authors. Very cool. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm.
Glad you found so many Indie books to enjoy!
All of your picks are new to me. I’m always on the lookout for cozy fantasy, though, so thanks for the rec for Usher Evans’s new series!
Here’s my TTT list for the week.
You’re welcome! I hope you read it and love it!
Wow, so many of these look right up my alley! I’m definitely adding a bunch to my TBR and I’m not even mad about it! Great list this week.
Thanks! I always add a lot to my TBR when there are lists like this. So many books to read, I’ll never run out!
Oooh, all of these are new to me! It’s so much fun when we discover indie authors we love and then read everything we can get our hands on by them. I haven’t done that in years!
Isn’t it, though? I hope you find some on this list that you enjoy!
None of your features are familiar to me, but it’s always fun to discover a list of new books and possibly one or two to enjoy! 🙂 Thanks for visiting my website last week.
I love all the book memes – I always find new things to read!
