While I enjoy wandering the aisles of my local bookstore, I tend to buy my books second-hand. I struggle to justify the cost.

I hear you, Pam! Just about the only time I buy books new is when I get Christmas or birthday money/gift cards. I love used books and inexpensive Kindle books.

I have been wanting to read The Wren in the Holly Library since it first came out. I love that cover. There’s Something About Mira also appeals to me. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of that one. I have read one book by Sonali Dev so far and loved it. Grandma Ruth Doesn’t Go to Funerals — What a great title! I have a relative who goes by Grandma Ruth whose actual name is Mary Ruth , just like the character in that book. What a coincidence! I wonder if she’d enjoy this book too. It sounds like she might from the description.
That cover on The Wren in the Holly Library – swoon! It will probably stay in my permanent collection just because it’s gorgeous. And I’ve loved all of Sonali Dev’s books that I’ve read, so I’m excited about this one!
CELLAR RAT sounds like a super interesting read. Hopefully, I can find it at my local library. I hope you enjoy all these!

I don’t think I recognize any of these though one of the author’s is a familiar name. The ‘Funeral’ title does seem like that could be a hilarious read, too! 🙂 Hope you enjoy these all and thanks a bunch for visiting my list this week.
I love the title, “Grandma Ruth Doesn’t Go to Funerals”, I will definitely check it out.
